PearlDiver Closes $500,000 Equity Investment

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (June 21, 2008) – PearlDiver Technologies Inc., the virtual, electronic, integrated medical information and data, analytics and consulting system, announced today that the Company had successfully closed on a $500,000 investment of new equity. This was the initial tranche of a Series A preferred stock financing effort.

Investors included one of the company’s founders, Mr. Robin R. Young, and several individual investors. The proceeds will be used to fund working capital, further development of the company’s unique data and information search tool and to hire additional staff.

PearlDiver’s existing 116 million patient record database combined with PubMed’s 14 million clinical papers offers surgeons and other healthcare professionals unprecedented information resources and capabilities. All of PearlDiver’s databases are searchable by billing code (ICD-9 diagnostic and procedure codes as well as CPT codes).

PearlDiver is available to surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the form of a widget or surgeon dashboard at no charge from its website; www.pearldiverinc.com.

With the PearlDiver tool healthcare professionals will obtain key insights into patient care decisions. Patient records are available from 2004-2007 and are sortable by gender, age and for every known orthopedic diagnosis or procedure.
