PearlDiver Technologies Adds Office Manager

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (February 16, 2009) – PearlDiver Technologies Inc. announces the addition of Heather Truex as office manager. In her new role with the company, Heather will assume leadership of day-to-day administration of PearlDiver’s Fort Wayne headquarters in support of PearlDiver’s industry-best information handling and analysis capabilities. Co-founded in late 2006 by brothers Robin and Benjamin Young, PearlDiver is an emerging growth company and leader in the life sciences information industry.

Heather Truex joins PearlDiver with extensive business experience including management and administrative positions at DePuy, Inc. and Biomet, Inc. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

PearlDiver's existing 136 million patient record database combined with PubMed's 14 million clinical papers offers surgeons and other healthcare professionals unprecedented information resources and capabilities. All of PearlDiver's databases are searchable by ICD-9 diagnostic and procedure codes as well as CPT and DRG codes.

PearlDiver is available to surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the form of a widget or surgeon dashboard by subscription but at no charge from the PearlDiver web site.

With the PearlDiver tool healthcare professionals will obtain key insights into patient care decisions. Patient records are available from 2004-2007 and are sort-able by gender, age and for every known orthopedic diagnosis or procedure.
